My first night, they stuck me in a room where you can hear the heater down in the lobby. They moved me, but then I came back a second night. Then, in the 3rd night, they put me in a room, the heater was also audible from the lobby, with a burn 3 inches long on the sink, the TV would freeze on every channel, no towels, no soap, not even a light in the batroom, and THE DOOR WOULDN'T EVEN SHUT. If not for the little swing over to allow the door to open a little the door wouldnt have shut at all. I then learned that just a couple of rooms down, was another room where the door wouldn’t shut. The lady staying inside was older and I can't believe they thought it was okay for her to stay in such a room. At one point, I went down to the lobby to get a coke, around 3 a.m. Nobody was behind the counter. I finally found him outside smoking and he actually made me wait about 6 or 7 minutes while he finished smoking for me to buy a Coke. Then, once my trip was extended, they found another room for me, which was decent at best, with the wallpaper lifting off. I had a friend who has been here helping me with my house, who come over to ride in with me, and is a smoker. She smokes, but not inside. 2 of the workers there have seen her outside smoking even remarking on how good what she was smoking smelled. I, on the other hand don't smoke. She was using a ginger ale can as an ashtray. It spilled as I was gathering our things. They are trying to use this as a means of charging me $200, that I'm

So after putting me in rooms where the heater you can hear in the lobby, the front door doesn't lock pr even close, the bathroom light doesn't come on the TV freezes on every channel, they felt the need to charge me $200 because they found Ashes in my room. All they have to do is check to cameras and they could see that my accomplice smokes outside.

1 yr. Ago i was eager to give this exact room a much higher rating... since that stay this room has done a 180°. Nice patterned berber carpet, is now decent linoleum that appeared clean but unfortunately turned my 3 kids feet and mine solid black for 6 days. The suite, only suite they offer, last yr. Was also staged nicely with nice furnishings, as well as color coordinated walls. Some of the furniture remains, and shoved along walls that are now all white. They have also started long term renting to tennants, which unfortunately made our direct neighbors a couple with an alcoholic husband and a battered wife. My children were exposed to things we have spent 17 years protecting them from. This couple argued 24/7 and he only put his hands on x 1 that we are aware. The staff was good to us and did move the couple to another room. Unfortunately this hotel has changed clientele and we can no longer stay here.

The counter lady was very helpful, but she first sent us to a room that hadnt been cleaned. We resolved that, and got in. The bathroom door does not lock, and the tv has no power cord. I do not blame the counter lady, she did all she could to help quickly.

Staff was very courteous. Condition of the room was fair at best. Floor did not seem very clean. All kinds of stains on the sheets. Would not stay there again

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit skeptical. However, I realized upon arrival that my room was super clean, no musty smell as stated in the reviews. I did not see any bugs, spiders, or critters of any kind. This is a nice peaceful place to stay. Kind of a country feel to it, not overcrowded. I have stayed at other motels in both Bluefield and Princeton and this is by far my choice from now on. Not a 5 star but definitely clean and the beds are very comfortable and I slept well. Me and my friend stayed for 3 nights and never worried for our safety. So give it a try I promise it’s much better than Quality Inn by Choice Hotels.

The room had no heat, the smoke alarm was busted and the room had a open hole in the wall where the cable were just hanging, looked like someone could put a camera there or a rodent could get into the room. I was very disappointed , I have never seen a Days Inn so neglected.

Even though I had a reservation, they were doing renovations and didn't have any clean rooms. It was very late at night and had to go to two more hotels to find a room.
