「great pool close enough to national park but hotel is a little tired」

「During our stay, we were blessed with wonderfully skilled staff and excellent facilities, allowing us to fully enjoy the rich natural beauty of the tea fields in the hill country, relax over exquisite cuisine, and experience the finest hospitality. We also found the tea tour extremely meaningful, as it gave us the opportunity to learn about the history of Ceylon tea. We are deeply grateful for the valuable experiences you provided us with. 「Room was large and beds very comfortable. Hot water ran out in the morning so cold shower for friend. Food was varied and tasty at breakfast and evening meal. Lovely bar serving a variety of drinks and cocktails. Staff very friendly and helpful」

「The location of the hotel couldn’t have been better! The room looked onto the pool and was beautiful. The rain couldn’t be helped but it was quite loud against the roof of the room. The Sri Lankan breakfast after my safari was lovely and I also had dinner the night before, however I would say there wasn’t very clear communication of timings or where to go once I checked in but for dinner the guy from the hotel on WhatsApp answered all of my questions.」

「We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, catered to our needs very effectively」

「A peaceful nature retreat with incredible fresh food. Our stay at Kalu’s Hideaway was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We loved the wholesome farm-to-table dining—tasting fresh red dragon fruit straight from the garden, sweet pineapples, mangos, and delicious Sri Lankan vegetables. The property itself is surrounded by nature. The butterfly garden was an unexpected treat, and waking up to the tranquil morning sounds of birds overlooking the Udawalawe reserve canopy was magical. 「シャワーの水圧が弱かった。他は最高！」

「Nice peaceful location with Good views . Staff is very helpful」

「Room was spacious and nice. Welcoming 5 min massage was great and full body massage for fair price was very good. Whirlpool in sauna area was under maintenance. Service in restaurant was very bad. We ate their twice, both 15 min nobody cared about us, then once ordered nothing happened another 20 minutes, not even drinks came. Second day for breakfast same experience. Food though was good and prices fair. Definitely they have service issues in their restaurant.」
