"Staff at reception are very helpful and efficient. Although can't speak much English, they will try to assist and help their guests. Nice place to stay but a bit of walking distance to the main road. Along the way, there's some restaurants that serve Asian and western food. There's one that I hv been eating there a few times with my children as price reasonable, lots of varieties, fast serving but always full house. "This property was newly refurbished so it's rather clean and new. Location wise, it's out of no where . Need to walk about 1km to a proper supermarket. The surrounding is quite dusty due to construction lorry coming in and out to the main road. The lady boss of this resort is very helpful. She is the only person that speaks English in the entire resort."

"Family business run by lovely hosts. There is a couple that runs the hotel and they are very attentive and polite. They offered me Christmas dinner on Christmas eve and the young son of the owener, which the hotel is named after, gave Christmas cards to all the guests which I thought was a lovely touch. Breakfast is very decent. If you like to be a bit more tacked away from the city but still not too far, I would definately reccomend this place. The mum is such a character, doesn't speak a word...

"This property has the potential to be beautiful but unfortunately it is run down and dirty. Dead plants, overgrown bushes, pool littered with leaves, loungers broken and not enough cushions for the ones that are there. The beach is across the road, shared with another resort. The only problem with that was, we couldn't get a lounger there. Guests from the other resort were in the "An Niehm" section everyday. So using the private beach was useless. As for the rooms, they need a good cleaning...
