「Very welcoming and friendly. We were met by the owner who showed us around and explained all the amenities and gave lots of useful advice. Very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful and beautifully cooked. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Reggie the dog even had a sausage cooked for him for breakfast!」

「As soon as I booked in Bridget made me feel right at home.which as a solo traveller I really appreciated. I observed other staff being friendly and welcoming to customers, not in a way that made them sound as though they had to be like that but because they genuinely behaved like that. The room was a good size very clean and the bed was comfortable. The food I had was good too. All in all an excellent experience with a team being led by a lady passionate about giving quality service ...

「Clean and tidy. Not too modernized decoration. Slightly dated facility but well maintained. Spacy room. Peaceful and quiet small village. Not very frequent public transport.On top of all very organized and friendly staff and brilliant restaurant.」

「Stairs to the rooms were quite steep but the room was great. Comfortable bed and lovely to have fresh milk and homemade cookies. Unfortunately the shower could do with some attention as water was really slow to run away.Good selection at breakfast, staff were friendly and very accommodating. Could do with either cleaning or replacing the carpet on stairs and landing as it’s very stained and does them no favours in terms of appearance. Overall great stay and would recommend.」

「We checked in approx 6.45pm (en-route to dropping our daughter back at her uni digs in Bath & returned after) on a dark January evening. Seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, but we found it OK. Welcomed by Victoria - Steve (owner) was on holiday. Shown to our room & how we had access to the lounge & kitchen. Such a lovely house. Lots to look at. No TV in our room, so thought we’d watch the one downstairs - it wasn’t to be, though, as we couldn’t find the remote control - lol! Too late by then...
