Summary:
Cape Cottage in Oneroa village is beautifully presented and well equipped for a relaxing family holiday by the sea.
The Space:
Set just above Oneroa Beach, Cape Cottage is bright, open, and made for easy island living. The home has been beautifully updated while keeping its classic Waiheke character — timber floors, whitewashed walls, and wide windows that bring in the light and sea air.
The open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area forms the heart of the home, with a gas fireplace for cooler nights and plenty of space to gather and unwind. Glass doors open out to generous decks and a garden, perfect for morning coffee or relaxed evening meals outdoors.
There’s room for everyone here, with three bedrooms and a mezzanine that adds extra sleeping space. The main bedroom has a king bed, the second a queen, and the third two singles. The mezzanine level, accessed by a ladder, holds a double bed — a fun hideaway for older kids or an extra couple.
Two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and thoughtful details throughout make Cape Cottage feel like home from the moment you arrive.
It’s a peaceful, welcoming base where days move easily — swim at the beach, wander into the village, or light the fire and settle in for a quiet evening together.
