Close to fantastic hiking and solid options for eating out, and a quick drive to Lake Placid if you want a bit more variety or to do some shopping. This was the cleanest rental house I’ve ever encountered, and I’ve rented a lot over the years. The house was well-stocked and had everything we needed. The owners were thorough and responsive.
