Our home offers a cabin feel while in the comfort of a residential area. Close enough to everything but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. Only a few minute drive from Main Street shops, grocery stores, mirror lake, over 30 restaurants and everything else Lake Placid has to offer. Only a 20 minute drive to Whiteface Mountain

Lake Placid getaway

Very nice and clean. Perfect location and accommodations for my family. Easy access to property and great communication from host. Had everything we needed and close to all the Olympic attractions and Whiteface mountain for skiing!

Cozy for a Hockey weekend

Stayed for the weekend with my son who had a hockey tournament. Great location and such a cozy spot. My son loved the games at the house. Each evening we relaxed, watched TV and played those games. Hosts were incredibly responsive and kind. Would love to stay again!

Perfect cottage for a family getaway

My husband and I stayed here with our two dogs and 7 month old son. It was perfect for what we needed. AC upstairs and down kept us cool in this summer heat wave. The fenced in area was great for the dogs. Plenty of space for the baby to play. I would definitely stay again!

Nice cozy pad

My daughter and I stayed at the cozy cottage for two nights and it was perfect for us. The small house was well equipped and comfortable in every way. All communication was excellent on the front end and we had no issues at all.

Thank you Irish and Phillip for sharing your “spare home” with us. It was clean, safe, HUGE, practical, functional, centrally located in Lake Placid but far enough away to be quiet, and it kept us warm in subzero temperatures. An excellent value and we will be back for another weekend next year!

Lake Placid

The location was great and the place itself was cute and good for our group. Some things to note: the twin bed was not super comfortable. Main washroom could use more hooks to place towels, the toilet upstairs was small and faces the sink so a larger person would have a hard time squeezing in. Also no laundry facilities, not that we needed it for our stay. Overall it met our needs.

The apartment is beautifully managed. It is very cozy indeed. The owner maintained communication with us constantly when needed and his response was on time. Nothing to criticize on the apartment it is really perfect. You can just sign into your own Netflix and spent time with your love ones. The apartment has everything that a normal family would need to cook absolutely. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and 1bath, a full bath is downstairs next to Kitchen. There were enough towels in the bathroom. Bring your own soap as that is what you would need. There is even some shampoos at the bathroom as well. On location, it would take us just 15 mins to get to Whiteface and maybe 5 mins to get to downtown Lake Placid.

A great little property if you are going to lake placid for any athletic event or trip. Small but cozy & warm and perfect for a small group or family of 3-4 people. 5 Minutes from downtown but in a very quiet community. A good price for a place with a little more privacy than your average hotel. Owners are great and accomdating.
