Cabin #46 at Firelight at Shope Creek shares 22 acres of wooded and creek side property with seven other cabins in the beautiful Shope Creek area of east Asheville. This newly built modern cabin is nestled into the valley, just minutes from Pisgah National Forest access, where hiking and biking trails are plentiful. Downtown Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Warren Wilson College are within 15-20 minutes away. Get the best of both worlds with access to vibrant city attractions and the natural beauty that makes WNC so famous.
This newly built 650 sf modern cabin is equipped with a wood stove, heated bathroom floors, deck, and gorgeous mountain and pastoral views. There is a hot tub right off the bedroom where you can enjoy the beautiful mountain views and the night sky. Located across from the cabins are raised bed gardens and chicken coop. We encourage our guests to visit there and enjoy fresh herbs, veggies and eggs for their stay. Our village also offers private hiking trails, two community firepits along the creek, and a newly completed covered pavilion with couches and an outdoor fireplace.
Wifi is provided, along with a smart TV for streaming. This area of Asheville has inconsistent cell phone service, so a phone with long distance service is provided for our guests.
You will have access to your entire private cabin with deck and hot tub, along with the communal gardens, chicken coop, and covered pavilion with outdoor fireplace. There are fire pits and chairs to lounge by the creek. Guests may also meander our private hiking trails.
We are easily available by phone call, email or texts. We are also occasionally on site to care for the gardens and the chickens.
There are seven additional cabins on the property, including six 650 sq foot cabins and a 2200 sq foot cabin that sleeps 4 up the hill overlooking the cabins below. The 2200 sq foot cabin is listed as "Firelight at Shope Creek Modern Cabin with Hot Tub" on Airbnb. Two of our cabins (#22 and #24) are what we call the Meadow cabins, where the cabins have two decks on either side and the surroundings feel open and spacious. All of the other two-person cabins (#40, 42, 44, 46 and 48), including this one, are the Woodland cabins. The Woodland cabins sit in a row facing the creek, pavilion, and community firepits. They feature one large deck and are nestled among trees. All of our cabins can be found listed individually for booking on Airbnb.
