「It was comfortable and clean. Big space for a large party. Beds were good with fresh white bedding. Large rooms. Lovely old original features. Breath taking views. Quiet places to walk. Plenty to do in the area. I would recommend. Some updating perhaps on bathrooms. But still doable. We will visit again 」

「Despite a rocky start, due largely to Vrbo’s handling of the information supplied by the host, we enjoyed the beautiful, well-equipped flat. The host was always available to answer questions and correct the misinformation. For future users it is worth noting that the Coop, Aldi and Iceland are all within walking distance of the flat. 「Beautiful property, lovely views from the windows and at night all the lights from the other side of the water is so nice. There is a woodland walk just at the top of the road, most places are dog friendly, and to see the deer in the garden from the window was so nice. 」

「The best helpful communications with the unit owner! She readily answered my call and gave great directions upon request. We only needed one night's stay and she was very accommodating. Nice, specious unit, very clean, tidy and nicely decorated. Great washer and dryer! Internet and TV were outstanding. Great kitchen for preparing meals. Great location for activities and parking at unit. I'd recommend staying there.」

「Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Abseits vom Trubel konnten wir uns erholen und mit dem Rad und zu Fuß die Umgebung erkunden. Besonders die Bootsfahrt mit dem historischen Dampfer und den Rückweg mit dem Fahrrad hat uns begeistert. Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gefallen. Es war alles vorhanden was gebraucht wurde. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit, die wir bei euch sein durften.」

「Basic apartment- lots of work done to make it habitable but the finishing is not great. All appliances works, the bed and mattress was good with clean linen and towels. The area had a pub with people parking on the limited parking slots (reserved for residents). Since I was over the weekend, I could park but if it was a weekday, I would have to park on the main road. No local eateries to walk up to other than the pub which was very busy.」

「We spent a lovely weekend at Hollybank & can’t fault it at all. Enough space to either spend time in small groups or be together as a group of 8. Very well-equipped kitchen & loved the option for either casual dining in the open-plan lounge or the more formal dining room. Would happily return at any time.」
