「A beautiful, well run property that is hyper close to town center. The staff were incredibly helpful in making local recommendations and the breakfast was perfect before an adventurous day in the cloud forest! 」

However, take into consideration that the property is a 3-hour drive from the airport and the hotel does not provide transportation (costs an additional $USD200 for private transportation from the airport). Daily breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very kind and accommodating. 」

「Mountain Faro is a simple, clean, and well-located property, with a good breakfast included. Yes it is up a hill, but you are in Monte Verde and everything is up or down a hill. The staff, led by Lady, are lovely, welcoming, and so helpful - including recommending restaurants, helping to arrange tours, and arranging transport as needed (for tours, or if you just don't want to walk the hills). I highly recommend it.」

「Our stay at Cielo ranch exceeded our expectations. The hosts are lovely people who helped us book activities in surrounding areas, made us excellent food, and showed us their farm. We didn’t want to leave. The kids had fun in the pool and the entire residence is wonderfully designed and beautiful. Waking up to sounds of birds and frogs was a highlight as well as seeing a variety of birds on the property. Thanks very much!」

「Five senior women set off on an all-girls adventure and it did not disappoint. Patrick and the "sunset team" were terrific, from the fabulous daily breakfasts to the top notch excursions that were recommended. The only negative thing I would mention is that the house could be challenging for those with disabilities, as you had to step up or down to get from room to room and there was no railing on the stairway up to the second floor. 「The property is absolutely stunning! There is wildlife galore on the property and you feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest. We had perfect weather and it was a little cooler but, if it wasn’t, the lack of air conditioning may have been rough! Love love loved this place and so did the whole group. 10/10 would recommend.」
