"The house itself was beautiful and the host along with the housekeeper were very responsive. The pool was not heated as indicated in description. We enjoyed freshly baked bread the host provided during our stay. The bathroom sometimes had a sewer smell and required us to open and air the house out. "All Staff were incredibly lovely and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel in general was lovely and in a great location. The cleaning staff could pay a little more attention when cleaning the rooms but other than that, it was a great stay! Reception staff were wonderful!"

"Spent 5 nights here in early July for our mini-honeymoon and it was incredible. You truly get what you pay for with Saccharum. Incredible rooms, very comfortable beds, brilliant breakfast spread and breathtaking views everywhere you look. 2 pools and a private (ish) beach as well. Town and the marina are very walkable with some other restaurant options that are a lot more affordable than the resort. We opted for a full sea view room and was worth it, but didn't pay for the SPE experience and we felt it was fine without, however I can imagine at peak times in late July and early August it might be worth it for access to the 'exclusive' spaces. But for us we didn't see the value of it, other than spa access perhaps. Overall the resort is a massive place with bars, restaurants, and balconies everywhere you look - we're not usually luxury travelers, and for us this place was amazing and we hope to be back one day."

"Beautiful property with an excellent layout. Staff and service were impeccable. We enjoyed several restaurants including Pau de Lume and Nikkei on premises. We also enjoyed massages and use of the immense Laurea Spa. We would definitely stay here again."

"We got a stunning room (an upgrade I guess, as we were celebrating a special occasion). All the rooms seemed to have lovely balconies. The room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and the dining courtyard was so lovely and peaceful. The rooftop pool was a great place to relax after busy hiking days. The people at the hotel (we saw Claudia at the main desk the most) were warm and very helpful. The location was excellent and they have parking right next door. My only suggestion would be that they should replace the glass/ clear plastic barrier on the rooftop to make the pool area feel nicer. It’s got a great view but somewhat obstructed by this foggy clear barrier. Overall we loved this hotel and would stay here again"

"Such a beautiful experience at Reid’s. The staff was a delight and super helpful. Everything was taken care of. We needed a bandaid and the front desk had it in his jacket pocket! They think of everything! We booked several experiences with them and they all were done amazingly well. There were some hiccups in our transfers but very minor. We’ll be back!"
