「Location is safe, affordable and close to the main plaza of Antigua. Owner responded timely to questions. The downside is the property is not quiet at all. 「The owner and his family were very kind and friendly. He let us keep our bags there for the day until we had to leave and gave us two separate bedrooms instead of four of us sharing one room. This is all much appreciated. The bedroom entry doors do not lock, whether you are in the room or not. Ours didn’t even latch closed. 「More than a hotel, these are furnished apartments. Extremely comfortable, very quiet and peaceful. They don't have air conditioning. Everything in Cayalá is within easy walking distance. Very safe. At night, all the streets are well-lit. Next to the building, there are coffee shops, a gym, and a restaurant. Ideal for a 3-day stay, enough time to explore the entire Cayalá area. Keep in mind that it's not near downtown Guatemala City, and it takes about an hour to get to the airport.」
