「The hotel is a historic gem, it is very well maintained. It's really a charming place to stay. The area is full of restaurants, so at night, you can stay near your hotel. Also, it is between the old city, and the more modern part of town, so it is in the middle of everything. We loved it. 」

「This hotel was super clean and the staff was super friendly. Their transportation services consisted of them having taxi’s readily available for use and it really came in handy and helped ease any concerns about being overcharged. Room service was 24/7 and the menu options were great. Overall, it was a wonderful stay in a beautiful area. 」

「We had a wonderful time and aside from the haute-cuisine quality, Nora and Jorn's warmth make you ponder when the next visit will be. Our door knob broke just before we arrived, but as our visit took place on a holiday, we're sure that that minor issue has been taken care of. We'll go back to El Lugar Nórdico. We loved the place, its cleanliness and how we were able to rest and forget about city noises, work, or even television (we didn't bother).」
