"We appreciated the complimentary breakfast, the afternoon snacks and water and the 24 hour coffee and tea bar. The location is perfect, beachfront. With volleyball, miniature golf and a playground next door. The area is low key and relaxed. We enjoyed every minute of our stay."

"When i arrived in my room the first thing i noticed was the dust and dingy smell of the room. I looked in the bathroom and on the patio and there was trash left behind from other guests. The bathroom tub had chips in it and was incredibly outdated and the shower squeaked if you used if for more than 5 minutes. We had weak water pressure and on the second day we actually lost water to our villa. When we arrived to our room the second night we had received a boil water notice and were unable to flush the toilet or wash our hands. We were left with no other alternatives but to walk half a mile to the closest restaurant with a bathroom. Im left asking the question how can i boil water in a hotel room with no microwave. We couldnt even shower the next morning because of that notice. I am disappointed that i wasted my money on this hotel. The shuttle that was supposed to be operating daily was constantly late and unreliable and i felt like i wasted a good weekend to just be disappointed. "

"We really enjoyed this hotel. The room was clean & comfortable. The location was perfect and the free shuttle was a nice bonus. We loved the ice cream in the afternoons! Our only complaints are the pool wasn’t clean a few days during our stay and the room had a very strong smell when we checked in. I’m not sure what they used to clean but it was really too strong and almost made me feel sick. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. "

"Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Richard and Kayla, at the front desk. The property has some wear and tear that will probably need repairing eventually, but still clean and functioning. Location was EXCELLENT; the beach was visible and within walking distance from the hotel. Nice park, mini golf, restaurant and gas station all within walking distance. "

"Room was wonderful!! 2 room suite. Enough sleeping space for all 5 of us. Breakfast was very good. Even had almond milk for my daughter who is vegan. Wonderful helpful staff. A really good stay. Thanks!"

"I think of a Ritz Carlton as an over the top experience but I feel the Amelia Island Ritz is underwhelming. With all resort fees, parking cost etc., the nightly room charge was $1400. That is no food or activity charges. We were disappointed their “Salt” restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so did not get to eat there. Other eating options are fine but not special by any means."
