La Bahia #1 is a vibrant, open floor concept unit that is bright and the perfect choice for your beachfront vacation. Much attention and thoughtfulness has been put into furnishing La Bahia 1 with everything a traveler could wish for, also a washer and dryer.

This condo is beach-level, where you can literally step off the patio onto the white sandy beach of Half Moon Bay. Enjoy the large comfortable living space with a Smart TV and relaxing ocean beach views. The fully equipped kitchen with new appliances has everything for your culinary needs and dining up to 4 people comfortably. The owners have thought of everything for your enjoyment, including games for the whole family and even a tequila bar!

Two large bedrooms, each with new pillowtop mattresses, ensuite bathrooms, ample storage, and ocean views. The master is furnished with a king-size bed and a Smart TV. The guest bedroom with one Double and one Single bed.

La Bahia Condos are a long-standing Akumal favorite and are a great value for this beachfront location. Located at the heart of Half Moon Bay, an area well known for its quiet beach and amazing reef snorkeling. From here you are in walking distance to Akumal Bay, markets, dive shops, and restaurants. Including the famous La Buena Vida beach club.

La Bahia has onsite security and professional management. The staff members are excellent. They are attentive and happy to assist you in any way to help make your vacation a pleasure and memorable.

Very comfortable, just steps to the beach and very peaceful. Beach was not busy at all. Alexandro in the office was exceptionally helpful. Recommend having a rental car or golf cart to get around. (Alexandro will help with that.)

Nice family condo

Everything the listing promised. Property manager and staff was outstanding and extremely accomidating. Condo was very clean with a fabulous view and beach access is just steps from your back porch. Perfect location for first time snorkeling and getting the hang of things before heading down to akumal bay. The sea grass was terrible in most areas in Akumal but this location was sea grass free and the water was beautiful.

Wonderful Views!

Outstanding and friendly staff. Great restaurants nearby, but peaceful setting. Very clean with wonderful views of the ocean, pool and garden. We loved it so much we booked an additional 4 nights.

Excelente spot in akumal.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tan-ik condo. Everything was great we really enjoyed the Pool since the sargasso was pretty heavy at the beach. The lagoon cenote witch is just 8 minutes walk was a plus. Nidra the property manager and Neli the housekeeper were great and attentive. There was only one downside thing that I would like to mention, the water pressure on the showers were week. But if you coordinate taking showers on different times that works. Overall we had a fantastic time.

100% Recommend!!

We LOVED this condo! I was on a trip for my 30th birthday with my boyfriend and two friends. We wanted a low key, relaxing vacation and Akumal was PERFECT for that. The condo was very clean and decorated nicely. There are many great restaurants located within walking distance or a very short drive. Plenty of activities in Akumal too. We snorkeled with sea turtles, went on an ATV tour, visited cenotes and Mayan ruins. I will mention that there was some seaweed on the beach in front of the condo, but the staff worked very hard to keep it cleaned up and we greatly appreciated that. We will definitely be back to Akumal and La Bahia!

Peaceful Akumal

The La Bahia No. 1 is a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful condo with walkout patio to the beach and beach chairs (with palapas). It is well maintained. The only minor issues we encountered were quickly addressed by onsite management. It is an easy walk to Akumal Centre and Akumal Bay, and better yet, to Yal-Ku Lagoon for snorkeling. We did all of these. This was our second trip to Akumal (and La Bahia in particular), and it was fabulous. I will say the sea weed in front of the condo hinders access into the water (as well as a rocky bottom) but there are other nearby accessible spots to enter. I would definitely recommend this unit if you are looking for a relaxing vacation with only the sound of waves crashing.

We picked this property for its location right on the beach and the quietness of Akumal. Very comfortable apartment, literally on the beach (20 mts from the water), and perfect for a relaxing time. The apartment is great, has everything one may need to have a calm few days away from the other bustling and overcrowded places in the region. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your place. Would highly reccomend to friends, and for familys. The two rooms make it idea for a family or smaller group of friends. Amazing location.

Perfect in every way!

We have stayed in many different properties all over Mexico and this place was so amazing. Great location In Akumal. Area was gorgeous, clean and safe with great activities and restaurants near by. The condo itself has a great floor plan, gorgeous views and is well set up. The staff was friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure!

A sweet stay in Halfmoon Bay

We were very happy with this place. It is clean, well cared for, comfortable, bright and cheerful. On site management was great as was our communication with the owners. The condo is in a great location with good restaurants within walking distance and snorkeling out the front door. We would highly recommend this place and we would return again.

La Bahia Condos

Great property with easy check in. Steps to the beach. The location is very private and secure in an area dominated by CDN and US visitors. It’s a very short drive to Akumal Beach which has a number of good restaurants and shopping. Recommend a car if you stay here as it’s about a 20 minute walk. Free parking is available outside the condo. The condo and beach are beautiful and exactly as advertised. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place - wonderful stay

The condo is clean and management friendly and helpful. Right on the beach, chairs and palapas to lounge, ocean breeze always kept us cool and the view is just stunning. Nice walk to town, great restaurants, easy snorkeling in the bay, so nice to be back in Akumal!

Perfect Combination

This condo is beautiful and well appointed. If you are headed to Akumal this is a must!!! Giving you access to great snorkeling, restaurants within walking distance, and peaceful surroundings. Staff at La Bahia was lovely and owners are quick to respond. Just make sure to check out the sargassum seaweed reports if you are unfamiliar with it. We are pretty flexible travelers so we walked up the beach to snorkel and enjoyed the nearby lagoon.

It was our first time in Akumal and we were very impressed. The location, cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff exceeded our expectations.
