This beachfront condo is located steps from the pristine beach of Akumal’s Half Moon Bay, an ecologically protected inlet on the Caribbean Sea. A great location for snorkeling and for swimming with turtles. Lol Ka'naab is a great home base for those looking for a beautiful quiet beach, as well as fun adventures. Located on the first floor, this corner unit is the most requested due to its convenient accessibility. This condo is perfect for those with children or those not wanting stairs.

Inside, Lol Ka’naab 1 has a relaxed "casita" feel and is your home away from home. The master bedroom has an amazing view directly of the ocean. The second bedroom has a queen and twin-sized bed perfect for family and friends. Both bedrooms have new high-end mattresses and bedding, refreshing air conditioners, and marble ensuite bathrooms.

This unit has its own high-speed internet perfect for Zoom calls, along with Smart TVs for your favorite streaming apps. It offers a fully equipped kitchen with unlimited purified water. The kitchen and living room have a full view of the ocean and pool. Outdoors, you can relax on the terrace hammock, use the charcoal grill, and enjoy the crystal clear pool, all just steps from the beach and snorkeling. There is free parking, and an excellent staff dedicated to the unit, including security and Mon-Sat cleaning services.

Lol Ka’naab has an excellent location on Half Moon Bay, ideally situated between Akumal Bay and Yal Ku lagoon. The unit is within walking distance to several great restaurants, groceries, and an easy drive from the Cancun Airport. Whether you’re traveling with your family for adventures, or are coming with friends, you are guaranteed to create unforgettable memories here in the Riviera Maya.


Kindly Note: During the summer months, south winds may bring Sargasso Seaweed to some beaches throughout the Caribbean, including the Riviera Maya. Please know that our onsite teams work very hard to ensure the best possible beach conditions for your stay. As a consideration, you may also see special seasonal discounts applied to during the summer months.

Good communication prior to stay, beautiful walk out onto the beach. We basically had the pool to ourselves for the entire stay which was incredible.

First trip to Mexico

For our first trip to Mexico we wanted to find a quiet yet full of culture area and Akumal was perfect! Our condo was exactly as described and staff and manager was very friendly and helpful when needed. Local restaurants and cafe were easy walking distance and excellent food!We will definitely return !

The condo was beautiful, looked as pictured, right on the water, clean, great housekeeping and attention to the grounds. Great location in walking distance to restaurants etc. Our only issue - minimal parking and no response when attempting to contact the number given for the property manager. She should have returned our calls.

I wish it had provided more condiments and conditioner as some other vacation rentals do.

IT is quite a distance from Tulum, but we knew that ahead of time. We needed to rent a car, The maid service was exceptional. The only small complaint was the lounge chairs on the beach were all occupied the second day, because the other guests left their towels on them when they went inside. I would definitely recommend these condos.

The property managers were quick to respond anytime we reached out, the maintenance & cleaning staff were very kind. The place could use just a bit of updating, but we found that charming, and it did not hinder our stay at all. The beds were new and comfy, the a/c worked great, the shower was hot. The whole place was super clean. And the view of the pool and ocean is spectacular! We made a couple of meals in the condo and found utensils and such to do so. We loved Jungle Cafe & La Beuna Vida restaurants super close by. We swam with the turtles at the sanctuary near by. That was epic! We also visited Aktun Chen. Enjoyed a guided tour through a stalagmite cave and cenote. Absolutely amazing. We had fun on a little tour to Tulum Ruins about 25 minutes away. It was wonderful to come back to the peace and quiet of Akumal to sleep while listening to the ocean waves. The neighborhood felt very safe. We’ll be back for sure, and would stay here again.

Loco ****** team is superior.The description and pictures matched what we were getting (to be totally honest we also knew both condominiums from earlier stays).The only hint I'd provide for the team is to provide phone number top Loco ****** team as this provides expected assurance that when in troubles there's someone who will pick up the phone. With that said, once booking has been confirmed we've received phone number to the local management company, so the only missing point is phone number to be able to talk live over the phone to Loco ****** team if required and to not count on email only.With second booking we've done everything within hours within same day - so there was very fast response as we were already getting under the existing thread.Thanks Katie and the team for all help!

The ground floor unit was perfect for our two year old grand daughter to access the pool and beach. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially David who arranged van transport to and from the airport and a rental car during our stay. The only negative was the early appearance this year of the dreaded sargassum seaweed. Neighbouring properties raked it up a bit, but ours did not. Again not a big issue and we still managed to get into the beautiful and warm waters. As others have mentioned be sure to have water shoes as it is a rocky entry, but once in it is beautiful. The property location was ideal - quiet yet close enough to walk to restaurants and the stores. We would definitely recommend Akumal to our friends and family.

The area of Half Moon Bay was quiet and the walk or bike to town was close. The area does have a seaweed problem in certain months so swimming in the area is not great. We went to Akumal Bay to use the beach for a charge. It’s very close to some amazing snorkeling areas and if you love the water this is the place to go.
