"Comfortable, clean and convenient. It was a nice hilltop location with a great view. The economy room was cute and cozy. The living areas were enjoyable places to spend time. The walls were thin, but guests were respectful of the quiet hours. "

"We had booked a room down the street at Reed’s Hotel, and it was so gross we left. My friend told us about the SCP and it was such a breath of fresh air! It was clean, everyone was super nice and they had great extras! We got up early and took the paddle boards out on the bay, came back and used the beach cruiser to go downtown for breakfast. The pool was pleasant, and the koi pond was lovely. I would definitely stay here again! "
"The property is peaceful and beautiful, on lush grassy slopes overlooking the ocean, surrounded by orchards of tropical fruit trees. Randy is a wonderful and considerate host, always ready to give helpful info on the area, or to let you enjoy your privacy as you prefer. For cat lovers, there is a charming group of friendly felines on the farm property. Highly recommend it— the best place we’ve stayed anywhere in Hawaii! 🌴 🌈 🌊 ⛰️ "
"We love this place! The location is perfect and the home is both beautiful, comfortable and completely relaxing. The kitchen is first class. Best of all for us is the continuous ocean breeze that keeps the house forever comfortable. If it is warm when you arrive, just open the many windows and sliding glass doors (all screened). You will enjoy not only the tropical breeze but the ethereal surf sounds from the ocean below. The owners, who lived in the home themselves and intend to return for their retirement, live remotely but treat guests with personal attention (this is not run by some commercial vacation resort business). The home is decorated with museum-quality art. It is located on a seemingly ordinary residential street but the home is special.Apparently some have asked about air conditioning but we never thought this would be desirable. We have been there twice, most recently for two weeks in August 2025, supposedly the hottest month. The sea breeze is constant and we never even used the ceiling fans that are in most rooms. The house stays very comfortable with the windows and doors open (all have screens). We have booked another visit a few months out, further proof that we love to stay here."
