"I have stayed here a couple of times for convenience while visiting family. The hotel reception staff were courteous and warm, good car parking facilities. Unfortunately there was a wedding on and the hotel was extremely busy, noisy and untidy in the front of house areas. The room was large and comfortable however not as clean as on previous visits. "

"Hotel is directly opposite where you check in, which is The George pub. No staff being readily available in the building was a little inconvenient as we had a few confusing moments with the room temperature and couldn’t change it. Also, tv remote was broken so was difficult to navigate using it, but having no main reception in the building meant you couldn’t just pop and get a replacement! But it was very clean, large wet room and not too much trouble to navigate once inside. Would stay again, as it conveniently on the high street so all shops are so close."

"This is a pleasant property that has been comfortably furnished. It is well equipped and spacious. There are rural views to the rear of the accommodation. The back garden is a good size, with decking, hot tub, and plenty of outdoor furniture. It’s a lovely garden to relax in. Highly recommended."

From the moment we arrived, the house was clean, tidy, and welcoming.The host was fantastic, providing excellent communication and helpful voice notes on how to use the house features. They even checked in shortly after our arrival to ensure we had everything we needed."

"Holiday was excellent. West Mersea is beautiful. Just a little more detail to cleanliness. A bistro table at the front would be perfect so we could sit outside. Restaurants just a walk away and food excellent."
