「Our stay at Barong was beautiful, from the grounds and gardens to the exquisite room and view. This is the real Bali. Beautiful and tranquil countryside setting among rice fields. Agung was a wonderful host who made our stay so much more special. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and very enthusiastic and fun to interact with each day. 「An excellent stay very basic property with no tv but rooms very comfortable and the view from our beach front villa was something else. Owner Ketut and her husband Wayan couldn’t have been more helpful. Ketut even brought us a pizza one afternoon while we were sitting on our balcony having a drink. No charge for the pizza 」

「The grounds are filled with amazing gardens kept by the gardener "Agung". Dayu Made and her team cater to your every need, nothing is too much for them. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night honeymoon stay and made good friends with all the staff. The Bales (buildings) have lots of character and are finished to a very high standard. With a great pool and even better Balinese food cooked by the staff, we hope we can visit again in the future.」
