「Staff are lovely and welcoming and the property is really well decorated. My husband really enjoyed the cooked breakfast and car parking on site is a real bonus. Location is great. Needs a bit of tlc in the room we had. Could do with some slight improvements to hit the 5star rating it has been given like premium bedding, good wif and better bathroom toiletries. We had a good stay but not exactly as luxurious as I was hoping for.」

「Everything about the property was great. Staff, bedroom, breakfast all brilliant. We feel we should have been warned about the scaffolding and plastic sheeting all round the front of the property, which virtually obliterated the view. Providing a bottle of Prosecco and 20% off the our next stay is all well and good, but didn’t mitigate our disappointment, considering it was quite expensive!」

「Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...
