「Thekkady is a great place to visit due to the Periyar Wildlife Park and abundant spice plantations. The hotel staff were very happy to organise transport and activities. The hotel itself is in a nice location up in the forest but is perhaps a bit tired. 」

「We booked for 4 nights for 4 couples at The Mountain Courtyard but at 10pm the evening before I received an email to say that due to a 'technical fault' we would need to spend two of our nights at the sister hotel, Forest Canopy, just 1km away. Although frustrating, this turned out for the best as the Forest Canopy staff and dining experience is far superior. 「I booked this hotel on a whim after reading the reviews and wanting to pamper myself on my vacation to India. I was traveling there with another friend of mine. 「Lovely, service-oriented 5 star up high in the mountains. Excellent stay if you want to relax and enjoy nature. Also close to tea estates, so lots to explore. Only downside is it can get quite foggy that high, so the beautiful views can be obscured for large parts of the day.」

「It was an excellent hotel located in the outskirts of Munnar. The staff were accommodating and welcoming. The restaurant was excellent. We had many choices for the complementary breakfast. Dinner and lunch options were reasonably priced. Good complementary activities were available. Next time I will definitely go for a longer stay.」
