「It is a magnificent property with great facilities. Well located enough. But Plattenberg is a plain soulless residential seaside town. No quality in terms of restaurants.
The property is closed to shops, cafés and beach (if you don’t mind the very steep hike back). 」

「Room was lovely with a great view. Staff were friendly and welcoming and food in the restaurant was great. Tip would be book the restaurant in advance as it was really busy and we were unable to get a table for dinner.」

「The hotel unfortunately is a bit run down, neglected maintenance and during our stay they were renovating Spa (closed), Lifestyle Center (closed), phone system & water system (brownish at times) which is a lot at one time. We found the entry exit procedure extremely annoying, scan vehicle, scan drivers licence, call hotel to open barrier and when they don't pick up you're left there standing. Each and every time you leave! Also ocean view (at extra cost) from our room very debatable as the golf...
