"Very nice property right on the harbor. Room was clean. Staff was good, but service was slow in restaurant. Parking is an issue as there are a limited number of spaces in front of the hotel."

Lovely porch with chairs and a nice fire to sit by with other guests, if you choose. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. You can choose to eat at their restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had a lovely breakfast on the rooftop that had a beautiful view of the ocean. "I loved my stay at Aqua Hotel. My room was beautiful with fantastic views across the ocean. I loved the decor of the kitchen and dining room as well as the balcony area. I took lots of photos to show my friends and family. The breakfast was absolutely delicious as well. The staff were lovely and the owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome indeed. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough."

"When we arrived they showed us to the wrong room. They allocated a room with one double bed for 4 people. The replacement room was dirty and had a terrible mouldy smell. When is was bed time we found dead ants under the pillows and blankets. The tv also only had one canal. There was no WiFi in the room as promised on the web. When we enquired we were told the room is to far from the office to use WiFi. I have to give a huge compliment to all the staff for their great service. "

"A great hotel, where staff worked well as a team to make us feel welcome and ensure we were comfortable during our stay. The hotel is in a lovely setting, on the main road but at one end, so that you are close to everything, but at the same time, feel like you are tucked into a quiet corner of the town when you are ready to wind down. The restaurant was fantastic and the decor was so lovely. Great job, team Ivory Haus! I recommend this hotel! "

"This is a very beautiful hotel and has amazing safari grounds. Rooms are beautiful, clean and inviting. Overall very expensive for what you get and has a lot of hidden fees on arrival. It is a shame that things such as breakfast or activities are not included or discounted with the significant cost of a room per night. We paid approximately AU$1500 per night and only received the hotel room. Even arrival drinks come at a cost. The experiences such as the safari tour and horse riding were...

"We spent an absolutely wonderful time in the Roseroc guesthouse. The property is tastefully decorated, the breakfast is very tasty. Kevin is a great host who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. This is definitely a place to stay at while visiting Knysna."
