「The people were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious, but there were a few maintenance items that needed attention and we had no hot water (not icy cold, but not warm either). The room was, however, very clean. 」

「The hotel is lovely. It is a very old building but in the best location overlooking a vast expanse of the beaches and Cardigan bay. The owners Mike and Trudy are a lovely friendly couple who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We also have to mention Victor who made us laugh every night in the restaurant. We came home after a 4 night stay feeling that we had made friends who we hope to see again next year.」

「We really enjoyed our stay with The Castle Inn! The team were very welcoming to us and our dogs, the rooms were well presented, clean and comfortable. There is a good selection of local drinks available and the food selection and quality was outstanding! The little things really stood out too, such as the “Hungry Dawg” menu for the four-legged ones, a well presented beer garden for the warmer months and a beautiful restaurant. We will definitely be staying here again when we next visit west...

「Good acomodation booked in with the new property owner Kurt, we were the second transaction made on his hotel account, chap by the bar beat us to no 1 position by a matter of minutes, Kurt had recently bought the Castle Hotel friday the 1st of September was his first day so basically hit the road running! He explained theres going to be big changes / improvements over the coming months so watch the space, as a New Zealander the bar area is going to be a sport bar area with some great rugby...

「This property was very much as described in the listing. It was clean and extremely spacious. The area surrounding is very quiet and peaceful, and very handy for walks. The house is also a central location for travelling to nearby resorts. The owners were very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.」

「Hotels.com showed a DOUBLE EN SUITE room here. There is NO such room. We were allocated a 6 bed dorm room for our exclusive use butNO en-suite. This was totally unsuitable for our needs. The YHA were as helpful as possible but we had to leave after first night」
