「We enjoy non-chain hotels. We are low-fuss people. The Hill Farm Inn is a beautiful property with comfortable public rooms and cozy private rooms. The receptionist was pleasant and friendly and helpful. We like that it is away from town and shops and busy roads. 」

「The Botanical Spa and Suites is simply fantastic. The two-bedroom suite was absolutely beautiful, spacious, well-equipped, and stylish decor. Very comfy beds and quiet too. The spa treatments my friend and I had were also excellent. I would go back in a heartbeat, highly recommend.」

「We quite liked this hotel as it was charming and well thought out in many ways. We especially loved the dinner we had the first night. Our room had a fireplace and we loved that feature because it was a bit chillier than we expected. The only thing we would have wished for was a mini fridge in the room, but that’s not a huge deal breaker for us to return someday. It Is a nice walkable area and an easy to navigate town. Sadly, Bennington Pottery store isn’t open to the public anymore, but the...

「Everything was wonderful, except the beds. Clean, decorated nicely, good room service. The pool was fabulous. Both the beds were so worn out, you could see the very sunken rut in the middle, so I did not sleep well. Woke up with a back ache each morning of my 3 day stay. 」

「Used coffee cups in dining area...no breakfast...owner said that he would compensate for that but there was no one to check us out the next morning with no compensation...shame that an historic inn is falling through the cracks...I definitely would not stay there again...」

「The house was very clean, we came prepared knowing there was no oven- so we utilized the stovetop and the outdoor grill. My only suggestion is to put in the listing that the house is located to the right of the garage. I arrived thinking it was the main house and was wondering why there was no lockbox. We enjoyed the house and its close proximity to downtown- we will definitely consider staying here again!」
