"It was like staying in an 1800's Victorian Maison with everything but servants. They did have modern amenities. The place is so large that you hardly saw the other guests. The house cat Root beer was very friendly when you did see her. While you have to fix your own breakfast the kitchen is modern and well equipped and available for use all day. The house is loaded with period furniture and artwork some of which are modern recreations. It is a family run operation. While the house has been mainly restored, it is a work in progress."
