The rooms are a little smaller than they appear on the photos but spotlessly clean, modern and well equipped. The atmosphere and cocktails were great, & breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. We were a bit fearful of being washed out by the monsoon rains when we arrived in Mirissa during August. And then we were greeted by this.....! Beautiful sand, monster waves and windswept coconut trees combine to make this the perfect stop en route from Galle to Sri Lanka's east coast.

"I had top floor and the view of Mirissa beach was spectacular! Location is excellent, right across the road from the beach and surrounded by heaps of restaurants and shops. Breakfast was excellent and had plenty of variety, good mix of western and local cuisine. Few minor issues but not enough to lose a full star for this review, perhaps 4.5 stars if you made it this far. Would stay again if i could secure a high floor, room 506 is prime! "
