「We adored Puerto Morellos. Fabulous beach and lots of great beach restaurants. Quiet town with lots of restaurants and live music. The property was cute and the staff very responsive and nice. Our only complaint was the sewer system which was emitting odour in our suite by the end of our stay. 」

Checked in with no staff just a key left on front desk, elevator broke on way up to floor with luggage, old razors left from previous guests in bathroom and shower, dirty hairy sheets, shared patio with other rooms and door to patio couldnt be locked as was previously broken into. 「Would recommend but be aware. Area under construction and can have plumbing problems out of their control, even the ocean view rooms will be over looking an over grown empty lot. That said everything else was great! The area is fun and walkable, room was clean and well kept, and service was excellent and issues were dealt with quickly and easily. 」

Our only issue was with arrival and check-in, as our taxi driver had difficulty locating the exact spot on the map and both Apple and Google maps give conflicting information.
