No point, Hotel is shut down

Absolutely the worst. Checked in with no staff just a key left on front desk, elevator broke on way up to floor with luggage, old razors left from previous guests in bathroom and shower, dirty hairy sheets, shared patio with other rooms and door to patio couldnt be locked as was previously broken into. Safe was not bolted down could just pick it up, lock on safe punched out no way to lock it. Then i spot someone pulling into parking area unloading stuff to hotel and i ask them about who to contact about our room - zero staff anywhere, and it turns out they are the owners (not the mgmt company) and they let me know the hotel is shutting down the very next day Nd they just returned from the lawyers signing the shut down of the hotel due to MIJ poor management...now my wife and I are in Mexico for a week with nowhere to stay...hotels.com helped us recover the remaining week of our vacation but what a gong show...

If you are looking for a quiet and affordable place by the ocean, this property offers that. However, the beach front was very dirty, the breakfast option offered by the restaurant was not great. If you are a big eater, don’t depend on the restaurant breakfast option. Getting to town for more food options is like an hour walk using the beach front.

Las habitaciones son grandes y con bonita vista. El personal es agradable. La propiedad está descuidada, incluye el desayuno muy básico y sin sabor. Si saben que alrededor no hay nada mínimo deberían tener una tienda. Y por las noches hace falta iluminación. En el mar llega mucho sargazo y no limpian realmente muy descuidado

Don’t stay here

The whole place needs to be cleaned. Couldn’t get in the pool because of the ring of algae. One nice waiter then one very rude one. Will NEVER be back.

Sad but true. I've stayed here 3 times before the last was in 2020. The place is falling apart. I stayed with a group of friends ,four rooms total. Our room had no air conditioning and the room smelled of chemicals. There was a strange grease like substance on much of the floor..probably bug spray. It was nearly impossible to open and close the patio door. Our room had two beach towels, no hand towels. My friends rooms ...one had a huge puddle of water under his AC by morning. The other room the shower drain didn't work. The bathroom fixtures were corroded and in one room the toilet needed repair. The desk clerks were hopeless. Regarding the restaurant there was no ice, no avocadoes. My wife and I ordered mixed salads and we each received a plate with sliced tomato on it. The pool is filthy and one of the underwater lights is hanging by it's electrical cord. The hotel is a disaster. I would like to say one employee who's name is Romeo tried to " fix" all these issues. He deserves a raise. I'm really bummed because this was my airport hotel as I fly in and out of Cancun frequently and it was a hidden gem. Now that I'm traveling again I will find another hotel. Truly a shame.

L’hôtel manque beaucoup d’entretien et de mise au niveau! Les lits étaient confortables mais la literie n’était pas propre ! La piscine manquait de nettoyage et la mini plage devant l’hôtel était plein d’algues et de déchets. Je ne recommande pas cette hôtel à moins d’une bonne mise à niveau. Dommage car petite hôtel tranquille et pas très loin de Cancun,Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen

We arrived later in the evening. All was ready for us. Security made sure we were who we were and I can say he was very friendly. Breakfast was good!

You can get much nicer hotel for this price

Hotel is very remote. you definitely need a car. Very poor breakfast for this price in Mexican terms. My room #103 was close to some water pump.. or something, You could constantly hear it. But it wasn't too noisy and very disturbuing. Overall comfortable hotel. Nice view. Direct access to the beach, but there was a lot of seaweed. I've been to many beaches on Yucatan. this one was the least pleasant. May be i was unlucky with the season. Howerver, there was no sea weed on other beaches i visited before and after,

Find another place!

We chose Casa del Puerto because of its location to the Cancun Airport (~20 minutes without traffic) for our last night in Mexico. Let this review serve as your notice to NOT stay here. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. Although it was pretty "cheap," Casa del Puerto was completely run down, the staff were not friendly, nor did they seem to care about any of the guests. We walked up to the reception to check-in and a poor guest was pleading with the Front Desk staff for 4 towels because they had not yet cleaned her room that day. It was 5pm! She was begging them for towels so that she could wipe herself down before dinner. How sad is that!? While checking in, we were told we had to pay an additional fee (this was not specified through Hotels.com or in the original Welcome Email.). Our hotel room smelled of strong cleaning supplies. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress was incredibly firm and the sheets were not soft. The pool was uninviting and only some of the lounge chairs had cushions on them. We had to lay out on wooden lounge chairs which were very uncomfortable. The restaurant was more of a empty room that had a makeshift bar in it. We ordered some tacos and guac and it arrived at the table over 60 minutes after ordering. Do yourself a favor ... DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Put your money elsewhere and save yourself the headache!

Agradable lugar

Esta perfecto si quieres alejarte de todo y pasar unos días de tranquilidad del bullicio y ruido de cualquier ciudad. El hotel esta algo viejo pero bien cuidado, las habitaciones de muy buen tamaño, el baño tenia mal drenaje y se acumulaba el agua, el servicio bueno pero algo lento debido a personal limitado, esta alejado de Puerto Morelos lo cual representa el beneficio de que no hay mucho ruido por las noches pero se hace mucho gasto en taxi (que en la zona es extremadamente caro) si no rentase carro. La playa con casi nada de sargazo.
