「Hotel is being refurbished, and pricing reflected it. Staff were scares understandably, but honnest as called up about found neckless that was left. would love to see it when finished, as long as they do somthing about the dam noisey owls (really)! 」

「Janette was great and helpful with suggestions on things to do in the area. CJ was cute and helpful. You do have to carry bags up the stairs to your room. The food was very good and they provided breakfast. 」

「Very welcoming. We stayed in the suite which was huge with 2 separate bedrooms and small dining area in the middle and a separate bathroom. Service and food was excellent. Especially the evening meals in the restaurant on the ground floor, all homemade meals - recommend the beef and ale pie! Breakfast was good, plenty of options even with a fussy child. 「Stayed here for a few days in May. Have only eaten here before but thought we would try the hotel as well. Because of the way Brenda and the team run the hotel it feels more like you are staying with family. The rooms are spotless, the food is delicious, and the team can’t do enough for you. Any request at all is simply met with a “nee bother”, im fairy sure I could’ve set myself on fire in the bar and Brenda would’ve come over with a bucket and said nee bother. 「OMG! You have to stay here! Anne & Dougie are extremely welcoming and attentive hosts. The Yurt we stayed in was so clean, comfortable and warm which was needed as it was freezing outside - the hot tub was needed! The cabin had everything we needed in it. The communal room was very well laid out with lots of entertainment for all ages. The location was perfect for a relaxing break and we will definitely be coming back!! Cannot recommend enough, the quality of the whole site is excellent!」

「Beautiful quiet cottage to recharge and reflect. Very sad time for us due to bereavement but cottage helped to heal our souls. We all loved it even the dog. Mattresses were a bit hard for our backs and sofas a bit soft and low but would not deter us from coming back. Wood burner was excellent at keeping cottage cosy. 9/10」
