Charming hotel with delicious food! The Cullen skink was delicious, as was the steak pie and venison. Breakfast the next day was also fantastic. The staff were lovely and very attentive and efficient. The bar had a great choice of beers and gins. Room 8 has fantastic views as is dual aspect. We will be back :-)

Lovely small and homely hotel .Had a comfortable bed and enjoyed waking up to the view out to sea.The toilet and shower could do with being upgraded but was still clean and acceptable. The staff were excellent and very friendly and the evening meal and breakfast we had was very tasty and well prepared.I would especially recommend the Cullen skink. We enjoyed a walk along the beach on a lovely evening which we needed after our very delicious and filling evening meal.

A minute’s walk from the beach, truly excellent food with exceptional staff. Reason for 4 stars not 5 is rooms are small and shower cubicle a little bit of a tight squeeze but shower itself was good with plenty of hot water and rooms facing the road can be a little noisy. Excellent value for money. Very dog friendly. Excellent for a country pub, not a luxury stay but comfortable for what it is. Fabulous location.
