「firstly communication was not clear because when I get the guesthouse the person who was assisting me told me that I'm supposed to be in Strand but the direction that I got was for Somerset. I was so confused but assisted me because there was a room that was free in that site. very thing is perfect very apartment is very nit and clean. 」

「My experience at this hotel was a far cry from what was advertised. Upon check-in, I was surprised to find additional charges, including nightly parking fees despite ample parking space available onsite, as well as a R250 per person damages deposit, which I declined to pay, leading them to take my driver's license as collateral. 「I booked White shark backpackers when I arrived there the owner told me that she didn't received my booking and end up sending me to her husband guest house called Gansbaai backpackers 😔. I was very disappointed about the room. The linen sticks(cigarette) , no lock for the door. No cleaner( helper). I booked twin bedroom but we were given another with four beds and we lose R40 according to the room category. It was really uncomfortable to sleep on the dirty linen for whole two nights.😞 ...

We were directed to another location in Strand that did not have a garden/swimming pool or any view. It looked like a half way completed flat with small living quarters.
