"Expidia listed this as ocean veiw room when we got there it definatly was not messaged managementthey said it was not an ocean front/ or veiw room and should not have been advertised as such sent them screen shots of the listing they said sorry bud dident seem to care..... "I was so impressed with the spacious Pono Kai property and maintenance. Nice landscaping, elevator, heated pool and HOT tub. Employees were all so friendly and polite. "This was a great central location for our vacation. We were able to access both sides of the island within 30-45 minutes either way, which helped with the early starts for our excursions. We played at the hotel beach on 2 days; however, there is a lot of coral on this beach so we also drove to other beaches to swim. "This is a clean wonderful spot in a great walkable location. Parking is available on the property. There’s a lovely beach nearby also a great marketplace (Coconut marketplace). The host was very responsive and helpful considering we had a plunger situation. We had a great stay. Would recommend!"
