First-time skiers and advanced powder hunters will all learn new skills at the ski school. Ski scenic forested trails or get an adrenaline rush at the half-pipes and cross-terrain sections, featuring jumps, ramps and rails.
Take a break from your energetic snow adventure at a mountaintop café or restaurant. Kick off your ski boots at the end of the day in the Killington Ski Resort Village and relax at one of the many cozy bars.
Visit other times of the year too. Mountain bike or hike up or down the 4,241-foot (1,293-meter) peak. At the Killington Brewfest Weekend in October, sample from over 60 regional craft beers while blazing red, orange and gold leaves fall in the surrounding forests.
The nearest international airports are in Boston, Massachusetts and Burlington, Vermont. Regional flights fly into Rutland Airport 20 miles (33 kilometers) from Killington. Take an Amtrak express train from New York City to Rutland, with a connecting shuttle directly to Killington. Or simply drive your car in Vermont, all roads lead to “The Beast.”
