「I was extremely disappointed with my stay here and am glad I stayed elsewhere on the island for the majority of my time in Barbados. The rooms here felt like jail cells, not one piece of art, no hot water and no mirror above the sink in the bathroom. There was also no fridge for leftovers but a stove? The beach area is too small for all the people that are staying there, there also wasn’t enough pool chairs so multiple people were left to sit in the dinner chairs rather than lay by the pool or...

「Staff were welcoming enough but generally indifferent, little real rapport, interaction or interest in the customer. Food; very poor, hygiene questionable with pidgeons hopping from table to table in the open areas. Pool was reasonable but all the sun beds were ‘taken’ by 08.30hrs. Cramped. 」

「Not worth the money. This hotel gets very little maintenance from what we observed. A few things didn't work like the sidewalk lights leading to the Castle view restaurant. You walk at night in pitch dark. You need to use the flashlight on your phone to ensure you don't trip, it's so dark. According to staff, lights have not been working for months. For wine they show 4 different kinds of wine available in both red and white but they only keep 2 of each on stock and not even the ones listed on...

「Rooms were nice and staff was friendly. Property was fine. They are definitely on vacation time as meals are slow (2+ hours for a meal). The restaurants leave a bit to be desired. Poesia was not great at all - probably the worst meal in our party we had in the whole island and the worst Italian. The place is new but the chef is trying to be too creative with limited access to ingredients. A few people had a shrimp dish with tomatoes and no-one had tomatoes in it. Azure is okay - mediocre. 「We were stranded on the island by the air traffic controller strike. I appreciate the staff opening their door for us to stay at a much higher rate. The place is hard to get to, far from being clean, no amenities like mini fridge, hair blower, safe and etc. 」
