"Great place to stay except the seaweed on the beach!😥"

"I stayed for 2 months. The house is on a very loud and busy street. Some of the walls don't meet the ceiling, so sounds are not muffled which made it difficult to sleep. It also let in a lot more mosquitoes and I got so many bites. Lots of ants, too, even in the bed biting me and crawling inside my laptop and clothes. Several times there where Latin men yelling for Armando in the night, whether he was out or in bed. The owners argued a few times, once quite late at night. Armando was yelling for all the neighbors to hear, very disrespectful of me, a paying guest. I yelled for him to please stop. One morning he played loud music at 6:50 a m which woke me up. There was construction across the street, which added more noise. Had I known this cottage was in such a loud area and had the discomforts mentioned above, I would have never booked it."

"Great hotel would highly recommend it out of five stars. It gets 4 1/2 because it has two elevators but only one was working the whole time we were here, good thing it wasn’t crowded so you’re not waiting for the elevators. The other downside is they had only one restaurant for Saturday night makes no sense. How do you have a Saturday night and you only have one restaurant for the whole resort again they did well crowd control wise, but it’s a Saturday night. It should not be only one Restaurant. Staff was great. Everyone was extremely helpful. I would definitely come back, but I would email the resort first to see what their Saturday nights were or plan accordingly for Saturdays knowing that they only have one restaurant and I check and see if the elevators were in better service, other than that, everything was in top shape. Petel’s and Saneisha were fabulous. The whole crew at Drifters were absolutely terrific. Would absolutely recommend this hotel."

"Was quiet and relaxing. The peacocks and pool area were my best views. Country is also safe to walk and taxi from savvy on the beach is cheap than booking a ride or tours."

"Indigo hotel is a new hotel in good location. Access to Brownes beach(the most beautiful beach in Barbados IMO) is one short reg bus away/or taxi. TV has Netflix app(you need to login yourself) and bed was huge, felt like super king size. We were given corner 4th floor which offered amazing view. Room was spacious & modern design. Infinity pool on ground floor and another pool on rooftop were enjoyable. Food-wise, pizza & taco were yummy and not too expensive. Breakfast buffet was not worth 42 USD, although nothing wrong - just needed more variety. Additional price for coffee was unnecessary. For breakfast, Blush cafe and Artsplash in walking distance were better options. All in all, worth money and happy to revisit when we come back to Barbados."

"As a business traveler, this hotel was great. It had everything I needed, even though I did not get time to use the gym and pool. It is well-located (across the street from the beach) so that you can walk to the boardwalk and some really good restaurants (Big up Salt Cafe for crusted fish, Tapas for the view, Coco's breakfast if you want to feel like you are on vacation) or towards Bridgetown - 2.5 kms - if you are not easily frightened by cars zipping by while sidewalks disappear and reappear. Also close to the quirky museum with Rihanna's umbrella. I found it expensive - for example, 35 usd for breakfast buffet - but frankly most things were expensive in the tourist economy at the tail end of the high season. It was really handy for me that the hotel has a taxi desk in the lobby with very cheerful drivers ready to meet your needs."
