「Perfect location for pen y fan and local walks. The food was amazing however the bar did lack atmosphere and was pretty tatty. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Alot of the decor needs modernisation and attention to detail. We paid more for superior room but there was nothing superior about it other than the room size was slightly larger. Furniture was scratched and damaged and bathroom was very dated and in need of minor repairs. Would have probably been top of range in the 90s but...

「I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). 」

「We didn’t have breakfast but the choices for the evening meals were excellent and reasonably priced. Free on site parking with bus stops for Cardiff city centre a short walk away. Overall a great stay. Staff all very efficient and friendly 」

「Had a lovely stay at the vale resort on 28 march. Made use of the spa and had a 2 hour walk around the grounds,lake and castle after a lovely breakfast . Well recommended for a break away」

「Stayed here many times and always a lovely time and lovely breakfast but on this occasion 28/03/26 breakfast wasn't nice and bacon was so hard you could knock someone out with it when my mum ask for fresh bacon the waitress said well the bacon was fresh this morning and its all gone my mum went back and asked 10 mins later and asked if the bacon was ready the waitress said its cooking with an attitude this waitress need retraining in customer service as there is a certain way to speak and thats...

「部屋は清潔感があり居心地が良かったです。４歳、１歳の子供を含む家族4人での滞在でしたが快適に過ごせました。 ただ滞在直前にホテルのレストランでの夕食を予約しようとしたら満席で予約できませんでした。評判が良さそうだっただけに残念でした。ホテルでの夕飯を考えている場合は早めの予約をお勧めします。 ただ、車で少し行ったところにある家族連れでも入りやすいレストラン(チェーン店やバーですが)の場所を大変丁寧に教えてくださりとても助かりました。 今回は2月の滞在だったためぶどう畑も枯れ木のようでしたが、ちょっとした散歩道などもありいい時期に来ればさぞかし気持ちの良いところだと思いました。夜は星がたくさん見えました。」
