The area around Rommerplatz is the only area left with the medieval flavor expected from a German city. Reconstructed, as most of Germany was after the war, but with special care to recreate the medieval feeling.

Frankfurt has a great mass transit system. There are lots of wonderful museums along the river. There is lots of shopping in Romerberg or old town. There are also lots of restaurants there.

We never liked Frankfurt much before staying in this area. Many small Apfelwine restaurants are economical, fun with tasty fare. Great neighborhood without being touristy.

Frankfurt as a city is where new meets old and it's very cool. The sights are great, the market is amazing and I would definitely visit again. Oh and the food, the food is awesome! Apart from L'Osteria where the pizzas are soggy. Get a frankfurter 🌭

This is the place to be when bringing in the new year. EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE, shoots off fireworks along the river & in the streets. A truely 360 degree immersive fireworks experience! We sre already planning to return next year.

"This is the second time staying at this hotel between flights. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Staff are very helpful. The room had a great view of the airport! Shoutout to the restaurant staff, it was the final Club World Cup soccer game and they did a good job. I really enjoyed watching the game with other hotel guests.
