「I was adventuring solo for a few days and stayed in the 3-bed hostel room at the Avon. The room was small but the bed was comfy, the amenities were nice (i.e. towels and toiletries in the bathroom), and the staff was welcoming and helpful. It is a funky, cozy, old-timey spot in the mountains, with a covered porch with rocking chairs so you can sit outside and look at the mountains winding down after a day of hiking or having your morning coffee. 「The property check in was easy, staff was fantastic, and the hot springs and bar options on site was wonderful. I was a bit disappointed to be charged for pool towels and robe use, especially given the higher than avg. cost of the rooms. Additionally, the room could use some updates and smaller furniture, I.e., extra chairs and table were too large for the space. The TV didn't work, and the bathroom door didn't fully close. Despite these non-essential flaws we would still return!!!」
