"A little far away from the city center but with good connection though subway and free shuttle bus every 30min. It is good if you want to relax and disconnect from the big and crowded Japanese cities. We loved Kobe for that reason. Lovely city "

"The hotel is a bit old (outdated) and looks like it needs an upgrade for the carpets and beds. However, it's clean and very convenient because as soon as you step out of Rinku Station, the hotel is just a few meters away. Their reception area is on the 1st floor. We stayed on the 46th floor, the elevator is fast, and the view from the top is beautiful. You can truly appreciate the beauty of Kansai even more."

"This hotel does not have the lobby on the first floor. We need to go to 17th floor. There is only one staff at the hotel entrance at the first floor and I had a hard time to get a tax cab. One stuff at the entrance is not acceptable at all for the price I paired to stay at this hotel. The credit card reader did not work well to read my foreign credit card. "

I decided not to go to the meeting but forgot I’d made a reservation. Not one single reminder from Expedia u til I got a “how was your check-in experience” from Expedia. "The shuttle feature is great from the train station, although you need to plan ahead due to its limited availability. Taxi to the property was inexpensive and affordable from the train station as well. On suite onsen and private bath is a must have feature with a clear view to the river below and the forest. Dinner serve in room was beyond exceptional. Breakfast was a little disappointing but still good. Definitely making this place an annual tradition to revisit every time we're back in...

"This property does take some effort to get to. But the stay was pleasant. Buffet was delicious and onsen baths were amazing. The ryokan experience is very interesting and comfortable for us. Staff were very helpful. One thing to mention is it is not very tattoo-friendly. They politely ask you to cover tattoos in common areas, including restaurants."

"Staff were super friendly. The room was amazing and faced the bay and ferris wheel. I made use of the jacuzzi bath both morning and night. Nothing beat a bath tub soak after a long day of doing touristy things."

"The staff was very nice! They didn’t really speak english, but it was easy to communicate with them. The location is nice and the room was very authentic and pretty! The breakfast was nothing that we expected. It was awesome!! When staying here, you must eat breakfast here. Not an american style breakfast! Very very authentic japanese breakfast that we enjoyed very much. Great experience!! "
