Just something to consider if you are planning to relax or read at the rental. Though I turned on the fan and it drowned out the sound well. :)"

"I messaged them 3 days before the stay for check-in information with no follow up whatsoever and then messaged me and 11:30 the day of our stay that they were cancelling due to a double booking. Completely derailing our morning and added a couple levels of stress to our travel. Would not recommend, horrible response from the host as well"

"Our stay was okay. When looking at the listing I thought it was going to be a side-by-side duplex but it is an upper apartment. If you have small children please reconsider as there is no gate at the top of the stairs to prevent any sort of fall. The bunk bed is super wobbly also. "It is a beautiful little place, plenty of room for my sister and I to stay. Updated but keeping the old- doorknobs, windows, and hardwood floors. It is walking distance to many stores, coffee shops, the lake, and my brother’s house! I’m hoping my husband and I can stay next month."

"This is the second time we stayed at The Retreat. LOTS of space inside and out for our family to gather. Kids age 3-10 could not get enough of the heated pool and the adults especially enjoyed the hot tub. We added an 'exrra' and had a small family reunion one of the afternoons and the place was perfect for this. Game room such a bonus when it rained.
