Very unique house nice to have the pool because it was so hot . Our grandchildren enjoyed the fishing and our dog had lots of place to walk. Had a great time thinking about staying there next summer if we get together again. Even the pool was very clean and the kids had fun fishing. Close to the main roads so the kids could drive back to Milwaukee for work . Very pleased with our choice of this beautiful place!

What a fun and unique place! I'd love to be back in summer to make use of the pool and pond.Winter was still wonderful though with access to the hot tub and game room.

Relaxing getaway

My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out, comfortable couches and beds, great hot tub and beautiful private property. My kids enjoyed the game room and we loved relaxing by the fire. It was also nice being able to have the dog along with us. The host was responsive and we had no issues. My kids have already asked to go back!

Me and 9 of my friends rented this space it was very affordable for all the amenities that it came with. Robert was very responsive to messaging before and during our stay. The property is huge and built for all kinds of activities. Can’t wait to book again!

Cool rustic house, with an awesome hot tub and fireplace

This place was great, we used the hot tub a few times despite the cold weather. The rooms were comfy, and the backyard was great to sledding. The double living room was cool and the couches were comfy. Plenty of room for our kids to run around and play!There was a little bit of the weird smell around the showers, but I assume that was because the house is on a septic tank.

The Retreat: A Relaxing Oasis

We spent several days at the Retreat over the 4th of July. What a perfect property with so much to do! From the inground pool to the fish-stocked pond to the volleyball net to the game room, there are so many activities for everyone. And our dogs loved the opportunity to run through the manicured seven acres! Would stay again.

Quiet retreat

We came up to spend anniversary and a birthday.Brought our 2 pups and they loved to run the acres. We used hot tib and had a bon fire followed by relaxing inside by the fireplace.A+ for small but its a great place for a crowd too!

Me and girlies all had a fantastic stay at "the retreat" The space was amazing for a large group. Communication was open, easy, and friendly. Fun, laid back property. Game room is awesome. Huge, living room with comfy recliners, and with projection screen is great for nighttime family movies. Property around the house is great. Near highway, you can be in downtown Milwaukee in 15 minutes, or at the beach or shopping. Great location. Loved our stay. Robert was super responsive.

Relaxing weekend at The Retreat

I stayed at The Retreat for a combined bachelor/bachelorette weekend with my fiancée and a group of our friends. It was an excellent place to unwind and spend time together. We were annoyed at times by the noise from the freeway nearby and the airplanes overhead but the multitude of amenities available at the house and the great communication (and signage) from the host, Robert more than made up for the noise. 10/10 would return and recommend to others.
