Please know that Lilys Garden is located in the basement of a home in a residential area. There is no garden. Upon entry the common area is poorly lit and depressing. While the room appeared clean, a perfume smell permeated the room, similar to Febreeze air freshener, used to mask underlying odours. Anyone who is sensitive to perfume may be affected. The bathroom fan was covered in a layer of dust. The grout around the sink was moldy. The room was cheaply decorated, nothing endearing or quaint, as I had expected. I don't recommend a stay at Lilys Garden. We were very disappointed.

This hotel is historic, clean and well maintained. It is about as close to the downtown as one would want and very walkable to everything in the downtown's historic Victoria Row. The two restaurants in the hotel looked great and they have a seating area out front of the hotel which other guests seemed to enjoy. The pool although we did not use it looked pretty nice and had a deep end which might be nice for adults.

Professional staff with great smiles. Desk lady helped with the luggage, and pushed the cart to the room. Great memories with great service.

Great spot, all the comforts of home and only a few minutes to walk to the beach!
