Thought the breakfast was a bit pricey

Very quaint and historic property in the heart of Monnickedam. The room was lovely. Old world with modern fixtures. Just FYI, no elevator so request ground floor if you need to. I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was very nice and helpful. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Short walk to the bus that can take you to Volendam or Amsterdam within 20 minutes

A sweet gal at the front desk wrote a list of her favorite places in the city and dropped it in our room. The stay was wonderful

Excellent location and an amazing stay! The hotel staff were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our visit. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. Everything was well maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We absolutely loved this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great location right on the canals. Friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious & plentiful cooked-to-order breakfast for €17. 👍 value for money. Lots a sight-seeing & restaurant options nearby. Comfy bed, lots of towels, quality bath products. Efficient A/C unit

Older hotels but very nice location. Rated cleanliness, location, well-maintained, etc., accordingly. Check-in process had some miscommunication, but overall, a great hotel.

Liked the property location, the ambiance, decor and the room, although the room needed some more traveler’s accommodations, like drawers. Also the staff was not very helpful at the check-in. We had to wait for two hours past the checking time to get the room we had booked.

Whatever I say about this property wouldn't suffice. I looked hard for a negative and couldn't find one thing lacking. We were left comparing this property to a 5 star property in Paris, and this property was much beyond even that! Comfortable, convenient, fantastic staff, drop dead gorgeous property, excellent amenities. Yes, it's heavy on the tab, but you feel like it worth every $ you spend. We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was a nice way to treat ourselves before the long flight home. A special mention to the comfiest beds which just envelopes you leaving you refreshed for the next day. My family thoroughly enjoyed the amenities which includes a steam room and a sauna. Didn't have time to use their spa treatments, but we will repeat if we are ever in this part of the town.

Centrally located. Multiple restaurants and shops within steps of the hotel. Helpful staff. Noisy at night because the street is very popular. No lift and steep stairs which is common with older hotels. Rooms have been remodeled and they are very nice.

The location was good , the room very small but clean. The restaurant staff were just ok.
