The rooms were very clean. AC worked perfectly. This was the perfect stay for our Berlin experience.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. No tea/coffee facilities as they sell it in the bar area. The area was pleasant and quiet.

You get what you pay for. Nothing out of the ordinary about the hotel, but the room was pretty spacious when booked as a single person, though if occupied by 3 people, it may get cramped

I doubt Hermannplatz is a big tourist destination - it's a very mixed area - but I was here to visit an old friend nearby, who recommended Hotel L van B, and it is an absolute find. Staff delightful. Rooms spacious, clean, comfortable. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had in any hotel. Right next door are ATM, mini-supermarket, a nice Italian restaurant... and a Hindu temple to Ganesh! Warmly recommended, I' shall be back.
