This hotel is good but could be great, firstly the good points, the staff are friendly and the breakfast and restaurant food was excellent. Now the not so good, the safe in the room was unusable as it had been left with the door open and locked,

Location! Location! Location! This place is not fancy - no air conditioning, loud street noise, tiny shower, and only the most basic furnishings. It's a bare-bones tourist hotel, but it has an amazing location just outside of the old town and adjacent to the bus stop. You can walk through the tunnel to the Festspielhaus and the Getreidegasse in 10 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room price was a good value and I would recommend staying here provided you understand the pros and cons.
