I was double charged at the property and they refused to refund the second charge, 600 euro. (Yes, I mistakenly booked twice, but alerted Eurostars as soon as I knew.) The hotel was full, so they could not have honored my duplicate reservation. Do I need my 600 euro, yes! Does a giant company like Eurostars need my 600 euros? Not really! Book away to a company that will treat you fairly.

The staff were very accommodating & friendly. We had some early morning tours & they arranged breakfast early for us. The location of the property was amazing & right in the middle of everything. The room was small but very nice & clean.

My stay at The Editory Artist Baixa Porto Hotel was AMAZING! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The room layout took full advantage of the space provided. We enjoyed waking to go to breakfast every morning. We were able to meet new people from all over the world while spreading pumpkin jam on croissants! The hotel also offered a full bar and restaurant.....the food was delicious. Of course, location is everything! This hotel is located in the central Baixa neighborhood and offers all the architecture, art buildings, plazas and key attractions like the Clérigos Church & Tower. Food options were plentiful and the night life really kicked up beginning Thursday night. We felt very comfortable walking everywhere during the day and at night. Noise was not an issue as the hotel is located just mins away from the main beaten path. We will definitely be back and recommend others to give it a try. The Editory will not disappoint!

The hotel was beautiful and the location was great. Unfortunately, some of the staff made us feel quite uncomfortable. There were definitely a few lovely ones, but others came across as snobby and almost looked down on us, as though they were doing us a favour by having us there. Such a shame, because the hotel itself is really lovely.
