We enjoyed our stay at the Richmond. Convenient location in walking distance to eateries, shopping, botanical gardens etc.
Parking was convenient and included in room rate which was a bonus.

Overall this Hotel is excellent. But the restaurant was so expensive. For example one slice of sourdough bread to accompany a meal was $6.

Positives:
The room was a good size
The receptionist was pleasant
Negatives:
The floor were on had a lingering cigarette smell
The carpets are threadbare
The grubiest dining room. There are food splashes on the walls. The carpets are dirty
Terrible choice/presentation of food at breakfast.
