Lingewaal Kid friendly Vacations

The room is clean and bed is comfortable. However, there is no welcome water and no in room coffee or tea. The refrigerator did not work since i stayed only one night so not a problem. I booked my room through Expedia but hotel has no record of my reservation. The staff was very helpful to get me the room

We were stranded by our airline in Amsterdam so I used Expedia to book a stay at the Ramada. It's less than 3km from the airport and considerably less than the 590 euro rate quoted by the Sheraton. Expedias was quick and efficient as usual. The Ramada front desk person who checked us in was amazing. We were so tired from hours of traveling and his english was impeccable, he communicated clearly and really made us feel welcome and safe. There were 3 of us and there was one room left with 3 twin beds so that was amazing luck. The only issue we had was that one of the twin beds looked like someone slept in it. It had hair and lint all over it. We felt that was gross so my adult daughter slept on top of the blankets with her clothes on and we shared my blanket. We didn't complain at the time because we were exhausted and only there for 8 hours. The shower was good although trying to figure it out was a small challenge.

Decent hotel, well connected to Schiphol airport. Ideal for business travellers. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Everything was great

Staff inexperienced and lacking attention to detail. Moxy was only slightly better than a hostel and a lot more costly. However, breakfast was well done.

The breakfast was excellent. The buffet had lots of options and a made-to-order menu was also available. The junior suite was quite spacious. The staff was friendly and the front desk was very helpful. The hot tub and pool were quite small. The pool is not adequate for lap swimming or aerobic exercise. The location is convenient to the train station and we walked to most sites.

Everything is quite simply ideal for the leisure traveler. You couldn’t ask for a better location, in the heart of one of the best neighborhoods without feeling crowded or touristy. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful, and the amenities are excellent. If you plan to do a canal tour, definitely plan to do this through the hotel’s boat, The Tourist, which boasts a historical link to Winston Churchill. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experiences as well.
