Eastern Massachusetts Kid friendly Vacations

The rooms are clean, but the beds were uncomfortable. The curtains had tears or were missing parts. We had 2 rooms and one of the rooms the TV did not work. The staff was SUPER friendly, and informative though, and apologized for the internet being down for a day. We got tickets to the water park which conveniently 3 of the 4 water slides were down, and then a child pooped in the lazy river shutting that down We tried to wait it out, but got tired of that as it becomes very boring for a 13 yo. Also, conveniently you can not get your money back for that. My husband emailed them regarding this, and we still have NOT gotten a response from said email. We ended up just going to the hotel pool...which my son was very happy to have had that option.

Great location near transportation and walkable to many areas including Back Bay, Chinatown, Fanueil Hall, Freedom Trail, and more! The hotel is well-maintained with comfortable rooms and beds. The staff is very friendly - offering to help with dinner recommendations and navigating Boston. There are ample restaurants and cafes in the area and it felt safe to wander. We recommend and would return if visiting.

Pleasantly surprised with the Royal Sonesta Boston. We got a room with a balcony overlooking the river. Although it was a small balcony it was so nice to be able to have fresh air and to enjoy the view. The bed was very comfortable and the inclusion of small items (q tips, emery board, bottled water) was appreciated. Parking was easy and convenient. The staff were friendly and personable. It was a very enjoyable stay!
