My husband and I loved our stay at the antiques-filled Palmer House Inn. We were able to easily walk to the active Main Street and had our choice of excellent restaurants and gift shops to browse. We also walked to the beach (mostly sandy, but with many sharp rocks as you enter the water), rented bikes and rode to a lighthouse, and enjoyed the delicious breakfasts while sitting on the porch in the cooler weather. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone heading to Cape Cod.

Couldn't ask for more. The staff were extremely friendly and generous. The room was beautiful -- not overly luxurious, but full of character and with an extremely comfortable bed. One fixture on the bathroom sink was broken, and the TV was on the small side, but I would hardly call these complaints given how nice the overall experience was. And to top it off, the breakfast was amazing -- both the quality of the food and the service. We would definitely stay at the Captain Farris again.

If you’re a history buff this is your place. The place was built in 1717 and Justin, the owner is more knowledgeable than any history book out there. It is such a unique experience and you are welcomed in like family by Justin and his wife.

The location is everything as it is 1 street over from main street. The room was a nice size with 2 double beds and was clean with a large private balcony overlooking the street. The room had a mini fridge, a TV with limited cable, a telephone, great air conditioning and lighting. The bathroom was small with a very small and low toilet, low water pressure and a very small shower head, but the water temperature was good. Also limited counter space. We found so much charm in this building built in 1901. Great that they saved the old brick and humongous wooden beams. The laminate floors in the room feel brand new. Loved the kitchen and two TV's. Nice service offered where you can leave a shopping list and they'll stock your fridge. We thought 72 degrees was rather cool but were able to adjust easily. Everything was prefect from check in to check out. Jillian and staff are top notch! We loved the breakfast daily, beautiful property that is meticulously kept and location in the cape is excellent! We will be back and thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

My sister and I did a few day trip to the Cape and once again stayed here. It is clean and comfortable and I always sleep well! Pam is lovely and accommodating and the queen of muffins. Not fancy, shmancy...but has everything you need/want for a motel and very comfortable. This was our second trip and stay and we will be visiting Pam again!

We stayed for 3 nights. We visited Cape Cod National Seashore on our arrival day. The next day we took a roundtrip ferry ride to Nantucket. The day after, a round-trip ferry ride to Martha's vineyard. Breakfast was included. We had a room on the 2nd floor which was nice and quiet.

Our 2 queen bed room was very spacious and clean. The balcony view overlooking the harbor was very nice. The property has ample parking with easy room access and is very centrally located. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

What the large chains are taking away is just what this Inn does in spades - lots of thoughtful little extras that make your stay enjoyable - A warm welcome from owner's who care - not just complimentary toiletries, but cloth napkins at a generous breakfast display even fresh homemade muffins!! Very clean, pleasantly decorated room and comfortable bed. We will definitely book here again.

Great hotel at the Cape. Staff was very detailed and provided personalized service. Hotel facilities were top notch. I especially loved the decor. On site restaurant was pricey but had amazing food.

location excellent AND greeted by MAY !!!!! the sweetest and most lovable dog in residence. What a wonderful way to start the day with a wet nose and wagging tail.

This was my first time on Nantucket and I hope to return - if I do I will definitely be staying at the Seven Sea Street Inn again. The location is perfect and very convenient for the town, whaling museum, shops etc. The inn is spotless and homely. Matt and the team are great at arranging activities/tours and are genuinely interested in their guests enjoyment of the Island. If you need accommodation on the Island, look no further.

Our room was great! It was extremely clean and well-furnished with an oversized bath/shower.

The house was beautiful! The owners were great, friendly and very helpful. The house is located right off of Commercial St. where all the best dinning and shopping are located. It is also a short drive from the National Seashore for hiking, biking and beaching. I would highly recommend this establishment.
